Bandai Namco Moving Forward In Next Chapter For "LITTLE NIGHTMARES" Franchise
We’re big fans of the game “Little Nightmares” and have recently only discovered the game ourselves, it makes total sense that Bandai Namco would want to continue with the franchise after the sequel was released. It’s been awhile but we can confirm that a new chapter in Little Nightmares is happening. This sin’t to say we’re getting a “Little Nightmares III” but that we’re getting a game in that universe.
Spotted by Twitter user @SmackNPie, Bandai Namco has posted a new internship position on LinkedIn for a Producer Assistant for the Little Nightmares IP. Details on the project are of course kept to a minimum, but this is another confirmation for fans of the series that Bandai Namco is looking to move forward with another entry, despite losing original developer Tarsier Studios to Embracer Group back in 2019.
The latest entry in the series, Little Nightmares II, is available now on PC via Steam, the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and the Xbox Series.
This would make a lot of sense since Little Nightmares is expanding from just games. It had a small comic book run in 2019 with Titan Books and even has a TV show in the works from Anthony and Joe Russo with the help of A Nightmare Before Christmas director Henry Selick.
We’ll keep you posted on any other news that comes our way about Little Nightmares.
