Mysterious Universal Monsters Movie from Radio Silence Adds Alisha Weir To Cast

We’re not getting much news from the fellas over at Radio Silence in regards to their upcoming “Untitled Universal Monsters” flick but what little news we gets, we’ll take. THR brings us more casting news today that Alisha Weir (Matilda: The Musical) has joined the cast.

Melissa Barrera is also in the film and you should know her from her recent run-ins with Ghostface in Scream 5 & 6 for Radio Silence.

THR previews, “The project was at one point titled Dracula’s Daughter. That project centered on a group of kidnappers who abduct a band of young people, one of whom ends up being the titular character. Woe then betides the kidnappers. Weir is playing the kidnappee who proves to be more than she appears, with Barrera playing one of the kidnappers.”

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett will direct with Chad Villella serving as producer alongside William Sherak, Paul Neinstein and James Vanderbilt at Project X Entertainment.

The script was written by Stephen Shields, with revisions by Guy Busick.
