BLUMHOUSE Launching THE SHINING Exhibit At The Stanley Hotel!
Stanley Kubrick’s adaptation of Stephen King’s landmark book, The Shining is one of the most renowned horror films ever. While it differs significantly from the source material and is notoriously disliked by King, it is no secret that The Stanley Hotel has served as an inspiration both in the literary world as well as the celluloid one. Now, Blumhouse are taking over The Stanley to open up a pop-up museum honoring the timeless horror classic.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Blumhouse is launching a new exhibit at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, known as the inspiration for Stephen King’s The Shining. Blumhouse will curate the over 10,000-square-foot Stanley Film Center exhibit space, in collaboration with the Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media.”
