Chloë Grace Moretz Facing A Nightmare At 20,000 Feet In New Film SHADOW IN THE CLOUDS
Chloë Grace Moretz (Dark Shadows, Let The Right One In) has just released a new teaser trailer for her upcoming sci-fi horror flick, Shadow In the Clouds. The film is directed by Roseanne Liang and set to be an awesome genre hybrid of sorts.
The WWII-set action thriller focuses on Flight Officer Maude Garrett (Moretz), who hitches a ride on a B-17 with a mission to escort a highly classified package to the plane's destination. Once aboard, the young pilot is not only forced to contend with the sexist crew, but a destructive gremlin intend on wreaking as much havoc as possible.
Sound familiar? Well a little known TV series did something similar back in the 60’s…ever hear of The Twilight Zone? Yep, same story, different actors and plot…supposedly.
Co-written by Liang and Max Landis the movie has its premiere at TIFF earlier this year to a decidedly mixed reaction - although the movie does have a lot of staunch defenders.
