'DRAG ME TO HELL 2' Might Still Be In The Works Says Sam Raimi
A film that delivered on its title, ‘Drag Me To Hell’ was a great return to horror for Sam Raimi in 2009. In an interview back in 2019, Raimi said that there was no sequel plans due to the film having a definitive ending. Things might have changed though..
During a Reddit AMA chat this week, Sam Raimi suggested that his team is trying to crack a possible sequel story!
Raimi tells Reddit, “The team at Ghost House Pictures: Romel Adam and Jose Canas, are trying to come up with a story that would work and I’m anxious to hear if they do!”
Drag Me to Hell starred Alison Lohman as Christine Brown, a loan officer who evicts an old woman from her home and then finds herself the recipient of a supernatural curse.
Drag Me to Hell made $90 million at the worldwide box office back in 2009, and with Raimi getting more and more fans over the years, we could definitely see Ghost House Pictures conjuring up a trip to hell one more time.
We’ll let ya know more as we find out.
