"THE KILLGRIN" (2025) Is Hungry For Your Misery This April (TRAILER)

Pain and misery are bedrocks of the horror genre. Whether it is watching the characters suffer on-screen or the agony of the nightmares the films aspire to give us, horror fans are in a sense gluttons for punishment. The overlap this has with mental health compounds the experience and grounds it in something familiar to some of us, but aware to all of us and Dark Sky Films knows this all too well as they share the trailer for their forthcoming mental health schocker, “The Killgrin.”

From writer/director Joanna Tsanis and starring Konstantina Mantelos (“Anything For Jackson”), Cristo Fernández (“Ted Lasso”), and Adam Tsekhman (“The Night Agent”) and releasing in select theaters and VOD platforms on April 25, 2025, the trailer below sheds a bit more light on the darknesss that surrounds “The Killgrin.” While it would be easy to write this off as some sort of riff on Parker Finn’s “Smile,” the trailer promises something more unhinged that is getting us excited, and maybe even a little scared!! Enjoy the trailer, and be on the lookout for a review later this month!
