FrightFestUK 2024: Director MITZI PEIRONE Talks With Macabre Daily About The Vengeful "SAINT CLARE" (INTERVIEW)

As we are just mere days away from FrightFest UK, we here at Macbre Daily have been behind the scenes scoping out some of the films that will be on display and speaking to the talented cast and filmmakers behind them. One such film is the horror thriller, “Saint Clare” from 101 Films starring Bella Thorne, Ryan Philippe, and Rebecca DeMornay. Directed by Mitzi Peirone (“Braid”), Mitzi was gracious enough to sit down with us and talk about working with her friend Bella, lessons learned for her second feature, and what FrightFest attendees can expect to see from this stunning and blood-soaked revenge film.

Synopsis

In a small town, a solitary young woman is haunted by voices that lead her to assassinate people with bad intentions who think they can get away with it. But her last kill changes everything and sucks her headlong down a rabbit hole riddled with corruption, trafficking and twisted visions from the beyond.
