According to their reports, the highly anticipated "Ecto-Glow Heroes" will be sold as an exclusive set at SDCC.

While Hasbro Pulse has only shared a few teaser images so far, this reveal could be a sign of even bigger things to come. If this is the direction Hasbro is taking with “The Real Ghostbusters” license, fans may finally see more long-lost characters from the beloved animated series brought back to life in action figure form.

D“Before there was streaming, they were the OG streamers. Before Glow Ups, they were the Ecto-Glow Heroes!

Step into the spectral realm with The Real Ghostbusters Ecto-Glow Heroes Collector’s Set—featuring all four Ghostbusters with glow-in-the-dark deco, gear, and ghosts! This #SDCC2025 exclusive brings back the ghost-busting legends in luminous style.

We’ve kept you in the dark long enough—stay tuned for more details coming soon!“

It looks like Hasbro isn’t pulling any punches with these new figures as they resemble the original 1990 line that was released. The above images are just renderings of the finished product so there might be a few changes along the way before they go to production. A lot can change from now until July when SDCC takes over San Diego.

The original “ECTO-GLOW HEROES” set had a Louis Tully figure as well but it looks like Habro is only focusing on the four main Ghostbusters here. Fans have made their own versions of these figures for years as the original run was pulled from shelves shortly after its release and is highly sought after by collectors. Hasbro has yet to detail if these will truly be exclusives at SDCC or will be available online before and after the event as they have done for other lines in the past.
