Every year it seems that more events are either starting up or getting increased recognition as the horror community at large grows and thrives. It is also an opportunity to highlight the diverse and various contributions to the genre, including celebrating film, literature, video games, and art. We showcase the work of innovative independent filmmakers, game developers, artists from around the world, with a special focus on promoting the talents of women and underrepresented groups in the horror genre. About Renee Huff, Festival Owner and Executive Director
Renee is the Owner and Executive Director of Haunted House FearFest Film & Video Game Festival. Her love for horror films started at a young age while watching the Wes Craven horror film, “The People Under the Stairs.”
Huff is a Seasoned Media Entertainment Executive who has worked at Simon & Schuster and top media companies, such as HBO, Viacom, MGM and PEOPLE magazine. She is also the Host of The Looks Creepy Cool Podcast and is the Founder of Looks Creepy Cool Studios, LLC.
