Gas up your chainsaws, because Sequanda Films has launched their post-production Indiegogo campaign for their feature-length, Texas Chainsaw Massacre fan film, THE SAWYER MASSACRE, which is a prequel to the original 1974 classic.

In the indie horror film, while recovering from the loss of someone close, Jimmy's friends bring him to the Texas countryside to escape city life. In need of supplies for their cabin, they ascend to a gas station where they are directed to find their supplies at an isolated farmhouse. The property is not as it seems. They find themselves hunted by a cannibalistic psychopath with an arsenal of violent tools at his disposal. In the end, any that do escape his clutches will wish they hadn't.

The campaign will run until July and perks will range from $8 thank you credit to $1K + executive producer, sponsorship packages and many other great offerings like Blu-rays, posters and tickets to the premiere in Austin, TX.

The film is directed by Steve Merlo, with assistance from indie film companies Filmcore, Solar Squid Productions, and Josh Skurnik Productions. More information can be found at the film’s official Facebook page.
