Is Actor Joe Manganiello Teasing His Involvement In The SALEM LOT Remake?
A tweet can be taken verrry literal by some these days and actor Joe Manganiello has just tweeted a suspicious yet exciting image on Twitter today.
The Justice League and True Blood alum tweeted a photo of head vampire, Kurt Barlow, from Salem’s Lot. We do know that a new take on the classic Stephen King vampire romp is in the works but does this solidify Manganiello is involved?
The book was previously adapted as a 1979 miniseries from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre director Tobe Hooper, featuring a scene with a child-vampire scratching at the window which traumatized an entire generation. There was also a far less successful 2004 version starring Rob Lowe.
New Line's take will be directed by Gary Dauberman (Annabelle Comes Home), who also penned the script. Aquaman director James Wan will produce along with Roy Lee and Mark Wolper.
