Isaac Ezban Discusses His Thrilling New Film "PÁRVULOS: CHILDREN OF THE APOCALYPSE."" (INTERVIEW)
It wasn’t that long ago that we posted an article lamenting the lack of zombie/infected films onscreen, big and small, these days. There’s starting to be a trickle that we think might turn into a flood once Danny Boyle’s “28 Years Later” hits theaters this summer. Barely four months into the year, and we’ve gotten “Die Alone,” “The Gorge,” “The Last of Us: Season 2” premiering next week, and “The Walking Dead: Dead City” the month after. Add to this slowly growing list a new, exciting, uniquely creative spin on the subgenre with Isaac Ezban’s “Párvulos: Children of the Apocalypse” a fresh, take on the infected trope, with three siblings struggling to live the most normal life they can in a world gone mad.
Isaac joined contributor, Sean O’Connor, to talk about how the movie came about, the influences that shaped the script and can be seen onscreen, how he found such marvelous actors, and what’s in store for the future. Isaac is one of the most fun interviews we’ve had, and his energy, and enthusiasm for this incredible film are infectious. Check out the video below and see for yourself.
“Párvulos: Children of the Apocalypse” was released in theaters on April 4th, 2025.
