JOKER 2 Reportedly Looking At Lady Gaga To Play Harley Quinn!

Nothing is 100% confirmed but The Hollywood Reporter reported last night that Lady Gaga is in early talks to join Todd Phillips‘ sequel Joker: Folie à Deux as Harley Quinn.

Joaquin Phoenix is set to reprise his roll as The Joker for the upcoming film and this version of Harley Quinn is going to be quiet different from the Margot Robbie iteration we’ve been seeing in various DC films.

THR reports, “Details on her character are being kept under wraps, but Joker is known for his on-off abusive relationship with Harley Quinn, his psychiatrist at the mental institution known as Arkham Asylum who falls in love with him and becomes his sidekick and partner in crime.”

According to the site, the Joker sequel may end up being a… musical?! Well, it kind of makses sense because the music in the film as well as the Joker himself, had a very powerful impact.

Todd Phillips and Scott Silver are writing the sequel to the hit 2019 movie.
