'KNOCK AT THE CABIN' Pulls In $21 Million At The Box Office With Worldwide Debut
M. Night Shyamalan’s latest thriller, ‘KNOCK AT THE CABIN’ had its worldwide debut over the weekend and it made some major change for Universal Pictures at the box office.
Here in the United States, Knock at the Cabin opened in the #1 spot on the charts, scaring up $14,200,000 in 3,643 theaters from Thursday night through Sunday night.
Worldwide, Knock at the Cabin opened to $21,222,000 over the weekend.
To give you some perspective, this puts the film in the running with M. Knight’s last flick, Old from back in 2021. That film opened to $16.8 million domestically and eventually pulled in over $90 million. Will Knock At The Cabin be able to pull those same numbers or better? We shall see.
In Knock at the Cabin…
“While vacationing at a remote cabin, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.”
Dave Bautista (Army of the Dead), Rupert Grint (“Servant”) and Nikki Amuka-Bird (Old) star alongside Ben Aldridge (“Pennyworth”) and Jonathan Groff (“Mindhunter”).
