Latest Images From 'GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTER LIFE' Introduce You To New Ghost "Muncher"

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is set for a November 19th release and from the few reviews we have read about the film, fans are in for a whole lot of what we love.

Empire Magazine has shared two brand new images from Ghostbusters: Afterlife this week, most notably giving us a nice clear look at the film’s new ghost, named Muncher.

Muncher is essentially a modern day take on Slimer, from the 80s (no free form torso apparition can ever replace him in our hearts though.) Just with a few more limbs than our old pal too.

In this year’s Ghostbusters film, written by Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan:

When a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.

Afterlife‘s cast includes Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace and Paul Rudd.

Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts are all coming back for this sequel to the original classic, reprising their iconic and beloved roles.
