-NECA-

Continuing their 31 Days of Fright, NECA has been steadily revealing new images of upcoming figures and announcing pre-orders each day throughout October, and it has been a journey as we close out the month and approach Halloween. Their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles X Universal Monsters crossover has been a hit with fans after announcing Raphael as Frankenstein’s Monster, and now Leonardo as Ygor The Hunchback, a twist on Ygor from the original Frankenstein film and the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Raphael is available for pre-order now with a scheduled release of April 2022.

For fans of the series, NECA also announced a new two-pack featuring figures of Joel and Ellie from The Last of Us: Part II. Packed with a myriad of accessories including multiple rifles, handguns, blades, bow and arrow, extra hands and more, this stunning set is available for pre-order with a scheduled release of March 2022.

If you hadn’t heard, Gargoyles are coming back in a big way starting with the new NECA Ultimate Goliath. This big purple beast stands 8 inches tall and has a wingspan twice that, so get some shelf space ready for those wings. Coming packed with extra hands, head, tome, and jalapeno, Goliath is only the first in what will undoubtedly be a fan favorite line. For those looking for a more subdued look for big G don’t worry, NECA has revealed that Bronx, the de facto ‘dog’ of the Gargoyles team, will come with a set of closed cape-like wings for Goliath to have that at rest appearance. In stock now at most major retailers, don’t sleep frozen in stone on this amazing figure.

-Mezco-

Official solicitations for the new Mezco One:12 Collective Halloween II (1981) Michael Meyers have gone live, and it looks to be another strong execution for the line. Specializing in cloth goods, intricate detail, and bespoke accessories, this new release showcases all of the best of Mezco’s offerings, including extra heads, hands, and weapons, as well as a pair of light-up jack-o-lanterns with skull motifs. Pre-orders are live now for an expected release in September 2022.

-McFarlane Toys-

The Todd train keeps on rolling as McFarlane continues to revisit many of their classic figures with modern updates and reimagining. This week they officially solicited their new She-Spawn deluxe figure coming packed with several impressively detailed and appropriately over-the-top weapons including three assault rifles, two absurdly dangerous-looking bladed weapons, a wrappable chain, and an extra hand. Expected release is January 2022.

For the even more depraved there is also Cygor, an enormous, gruesome cyborg gorilla. Cygor is the result of an experiment intended to be an 80/20 split between human and ape, but his creator accidentally made him %80 gorilla and %20 human! This unfathomable creature is being brought to life again as a ‘Megafig’ with imposing size and sculpted detail for days, while boasting McFarlane’s 22 point articulation. Secure your pre-order for this ludicrous monstrosity now for a highly anticipated release in January 2022.
