Meet the Ensemble Cast of Netflix’s Next R.L. Stine Horror Flick ‘Fear Street: Prom Queen’
Netflix and author R.L. Stine have a good thing going on and they’re bringing more of the authors work to the streaming screen with ‘FEAR STREET: PROM QUEEN’.
The new film is based on the Fear Street novel title ‘THE PROM QUEEN’ and was originally released in 1992.
Fear Street: Prom Queen will be directed by Matt Palmer (Calibre), and we have the whole cast listing for you to check out below.
The ensemble cast includes India Fowler (The Nevers, Insomnia), Suzanna Son (Red Rocket, The Idol), Fina Strazza (Paper Girls, Above the Shadows), David Iacono (The Summer I Turned Pretty, Cinnamon), Ella Rubin (The Idea of You), Chris Klein (Sweet Magnolias, American Pie), with Lili Taylor (Outer Range, Manhunt) and Katherine Waterston (The End We Start From, Perry Mason).
In Fear Street: Prom Queen, “Welcome back to Shadyside. In this next installment of the blood-soaked Fear Street franchise, prom season at Shadyside High is underway and the school’s wolfpack of It Girls is busy with its usual sweet and vicious campaigns for the crown. But when a gutsy outsider is unexpectedly nominated to the court, and the other girls start mysteriously disappearing, the class of ’88 is suddenly in for one hell of a prom night.”
Matt Palmer & Donald McLeary wrote the script for this brand new Fear Street movie. Producers for the film include Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kori Adelson for Chernin Entertainment, with executive producers including Yvonne Bernard, Joan Waricha, and Jane Stine. Caroline Pitofsky will be overseeing production for Chernin Entertainment.
