Netflix's "DEVIL MAY CRY" (2025) Sends Valentine's Wishes From Dante!

Roses are red, violets are blue, this Valentine’s Day Dante’s slaying demons for you! Okay, maybe we shouldn’t quit our day jobs to become greeting card writers (yet), but that isn’t stopping Netflix from trying to swoon us with their cheeky Valentine’s Day card for their upcoming “Devil May Cry” animated series. For those unfamiliar, “Devil May Cry” is based on the popular video game franchise that spawned some anime films and manga along with 5+ entries over the last 24 years. Much like their “Castlevania” series, Netflix is hoping to capture lightning in a bottle with this fun, flirty, and furious series.

Check out the teaser below, and get ready to fall in love with Dante on April 3, 2025 when the series debuts. We aren’t sure what to expect, but if it the series can maintain the same sense of humor and brutality that the games are known for, and maybe even giving us a more coherent storyline then this could be a huge hit for the streaming service. And if you’ve never played a “Devil May Cry” game before, you can grab the HD remasters for cheap as they usually go on sale quite often along with the newer entries like “DMC” and “Devil May Cry 5.”

Synopsis

In this animated adaptation of the popular Capcom game and from the vision of Adi Shankar, sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon-hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck. Check out more here!
