Netflix's Horror Mystery At Sea "1899" Cancelled After One Season
Talk about “walking the plank”, the sea bound mystery from Netflix, “1899” has officially been sunk by Netflix after just one season.
In Netflix’s “1899,” “On their journey across the vast and treacherous Atlantic Ocean, the passengers of the Kerberos encounter the biggest mystery of their lives.”
“1899” came from creators Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese.
The duo said in a statement today, “We would have loved to finish this incredible journey with a 2nd and 3rd season as we did with Dark. But sometimes things don’t turn out the way you planned. That’s life. We know this will disappoint millions of fans out there. But we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts that you were part of this wonderful adventure.”
There is no word about the show finding new life with another streaming service but you never know. Here’s hoping.
