New Artwork For 'SPIRIT HALLOWEEN: THE MOVIE' Reveals One Of The Monsters We Will Meet This Halloween!
Spirit Halloween: The Movie is slowly starting to reveal artwork and hints of what monsters we will meet when the film gets unleashed in theaters in October 2022.
The image below is from the official Spirit Halloween Instagram and teases a BIG familiar face to those who frequent the annual Halloween mainstay.
The Instagram post also indicates that the official trailer will debut this weekend during a Spirit Halloween event, so expect it online real soon.
BUZZSAW is an existing original character from the Spirit Halloween collection, available as a 6-foot tall animatronic that you may have seen at Spirit Halloween stores in the past.
Plot Synopsis…
“When a new Spirit Halloween store appears in a deserted strip mall, three middle-school friends who think they’ve outgrown trick-or-treating make a dare to spend the night locked inside the store Halloween night. But they soon find out that the store is haunted by an angry evil spirit who has possessed the creepy animatronic characters.
“The kids embark on a thrilling and spooky adventure in order to survive the night and avoid becoming possessed themselves.”
Donavan Colan (“Zoe”), Dylan Frankel (“Raven’s Home”), Jaiden Smith (“Blue Bloods”) and Marissa Reyes (“Raven’s Home”) will also star in Spirit Halloween: The Movie.
The film comes from Strike Back Studios, Hideout Pictures and Particular Crowd. “One of the reasons I immediately connected with the script is it is very much inspired by some of my favorite kid adventure films growing up from ‘The Goonies,’ ‘Gremlins,’ ‘Monster Squad’ and so many great films made by Amblin Entertainment,” said Noor Ahmed, president of Strike Back.
Christopher Lloyd and Rachael Leigh Cook star in the upcoming feature film.
David Poag directed Spirit Halloween, expected in October 2022.
