Party games and friends can be a lethal combination in A24’s upcoming comedy slasher, BODIES BODIES BODIES, releasing in theaters on August 5, 2002, and the official trailer for the wild whodunnit has now dropped.
In the film, which had its world premiere at 2022’s SXSW, a group of rich 20-somethings plan a hurricane bash at a remote family mansion. When a party game soon goes awry, friendships are fractured, and fingers are pointed in every direction as the group tries to discover a murderer amongst their ranks.
The film is directed by Halina Reijn, screenplay by Sara DeLappe, and stars Amanda Stenberg (The Hate You Give, The Hunger Games), Maria Bakalova (Transgression, Borat Subsequent MovieFilm), Myha’la Herrold (Industry, Modern Love), Chase Sui Wonders (On the Rocks, A Trivial Exclusion), Rachel Sennott (Shiva Baby, Bottoms), with Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy, Halt and Catch Fire) and Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island, The Suicide Squad).
