Ralph Fiennes, Jodie Comer, And Aaron Taylor-Johnson Join Cast Of '28 YEARS LATER'
The original team of Danny Boyle and Alex Garland (Annihilation, Men), that brought us 28 DAYS LATER are back together for the long awaited sequel, 28 YEARS LATER. THR reports that the sequel has cast Jodie Comer (Alone in the Dark, “Killing Eve”), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kraven the Hunter), and Ralph Fiennes (The Menu).
So far, we know that Garland will write 28 YEARS LATER and Boyle will direct with Garland also planning on writing at least one more sequel to the franchise – director Nia DaCosta is currently in talks to helm the second installment.
We have no word on plot details at this time or who these new cast members will be playing but we’re sure to get that to you soon.
Talks were going on for a long time about a sequel to 28 WEEKS LATER. There was even brief talks of the next film being titled 28 Months Later but time passed and thus, 28 YEARS LATER was more appropriate.
We’ll bring you more as we get it.
