Sorority House Massacre, a great little 80s sleeze-fest of righteous proportions, and even spawned two sequels, will be getting the TV series treatment. .

Deadline is reporting today  that Norman Reedus has signed as a producer for the show. We knew we liked this guy.

The “Walking Dead” star is producing the series under his new bigbaldhead banner, joining forces with Shout! Studios and Robert Schwartzman’s Utopia Originals.

“I could not be more excited to collaborate with Robert and his incredible team at Utopia on this project,” said Norman Reedus. “Their taste and creative vision are inspiring, and exactly in line with the kind of content that bigbaldhead set out to develop. We are thrilled to revisit this cult classic and create something truly unique.”

Stephen Trask (Hedwig and the Angry Inch) is also involved in the project.

For those not familiar with Sorority House Massacre, this pretty much sums it up: “College student Beth and her sorority sisters are stalked by an escaped psychopathic killer who shares a strange telepathic link with her.”
