Macabre Daily Talks About CRUMB CATCHER With Chris Skotchdopole and Larry Fessenden! (INTERVIEW)

There is such a thing as toxic positivity, and “Crumb Catcher,” the new horror comedy from Glass Eye Pix is drenched in it.  The debut feature from director Chris Skotchdopole is about Shane (Rigo Garay) and Leah (Ella Rae Peck), a newlywed couple on their honeymoon, who encounter the most persistent waiter in the world (John Speredakos).  He has a plan to make them all rich if only they’ll sit down and listen to him and his beleaguered partner (Lorraine Farris).

I spoke briefly with Skotchdopole and his producer, the incomparable Larry Fessenden, about shooting in upstate New York, enthusiastic stuntmen, and the Speredakossaince (yes, it’s a word.  Deal with it.)
