"THE CONJURING" Television Series In The Works From HBO
The Conjuring universe is set to expand by leaps and bounds beyond the big screen as news has just come our way with Warner Bros. Discovery today announcing that a television series is in the works for the Max streaming service.
“Peter Safran is developing a drama series based on New Line Cinema’s film franchise with Warner Bros. Television,” Deadline reports this afternoon.
The series is set to “continue the story established in the feature films.”
James Wan’s Atomic Monster Productions and Peter Safran’s The Safran Company will produce the franchise’s very first small screen project, in association with WBTV.
The Warren’s had a slew of cases besides the ones featured in the films we have so far which include The Conjuring, Annabelle, The Conjuring 2, Annabelle: Creation, The Nun, Annabelle Comes Home, and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. The eighth film, The Nun 2, is coming later this year.
