The hype machine is revving up as FX’s “ALIEN: EARTH” has just revealed not one but eleven new cast members have been added to the upcoming series. We have those details and more for you below.

We are getting so excited about FX’s “ALIEN: EARTH,” and we feel that it’s going to blow everyone away with its special effects alone, but looking at this recent announcement from Deadline this morning, the cast is shaping up to be truly remarkable as well.

The outlet mentions that these new 11 cast members are in “guest starring” roles and they are: Richa Moorjani (“Never Have I Ever”), Karen Aldridge (“Severance”), Enzo Cilenti (“The Crown”), Max Rinehart (“Industry”), Amir Boutrous (“Good Omens”), Victoria Masoma, Tom Moya (“Midsomer Murders”), Andy Yu (“Fargo”), Michael Smiley (“Bad Sisters”), Jamie Bisping (“Mandy”) and Tanapol Chuksrida (“Thai Cave Rescue”). No character details are provided at this time but we’re sure these will be revealed closer to the premier of the show this Summer.

Official Synopsis

When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet's greatest threat.”

Showrunner Noah Hawley (Fargo) has a major task ahead with ALIEN: EARTH. Not only does he need to revitalize a franchise that has struggled with lackluster sequels over the years (with Aliens being the standout exception), but he also has to successfully transition it to television in a way that expands the mythos of the xenomorph and its impact on humanity. As longtime ALIEN fans, our expectations are extremely high—especially after seeing the recent teaser trailer, which has only heightened our anticipation for what’s to come.

The newly announced cast will join previously confirmed members, including Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille, and Moe Bar-El.

We’re hopeful the series will bring fresh new ideas while also paying homage to the films in the franchise. Ever since Disney acquired FOX, there’s been a constant expectation that they would attempt to reinvigorate the series—and they certainly delivered with ALIEN: ROMULUS, directed by Fede Alvarez. The film was a massive success, grossing over $350 million worldwide on just an $80 million budget. With that momentum, a sequel to Romulus is already in development.

“ALIEN: EARTH” is set for a premier this Summer.
