"CLOWN IN A CORNFIELD" (2025) Gets A New Poster, And Frendo Descends On The Overlook Film Fest!

We are just under a month away from RLJE Films and Shudder’s “Clown In A Cornfield” and the buzz is palpable as it continues to receive rave reviews for every festival it hits! For those who haven’t been paying attention, “Clown In A Cornfield” is adapted from author Adam Cesare’s book of the same name that has spawned three sequels and introduces us to a new killer clown, Frendo. The books are heaps of fun, and based on the clip we shared last week the film looks to be a bloody good time. The film is directed by Eli Craig and stars Katie Douglas, Carson MacCormac, Aaron Abrams, Will Sasso, and Kevin Durand.

Ahead of the film’s theatrical release on May 9, 2025, the production team has shared their newest official one-sheet for the film which you can see above. In addition, we have some clips of Frendo making the rounds this past weekend in New Orleans for The Overlook Film Festival where the film played to sold-out crowds and from what we heard, even more praise!
