Director Rob Savage Taking On Stephen King's Short Story 'THE BOOGEYMAN'

Last year, director Rob Savage blew a lot of people away with his direct to Shudder release of “Host”. His next project taps into the mind of author Stephen King for The Boogeyman!

Deadline reports that Savage will be adapting King’s short story The Boogeyman for Hulu and 20th Century Studios. The film is expected to debut exclusively on Hulu.

The site adds, “Mark Heyman (Black Swan) has been writing the script which Scott Beck & Bryan Woods (A Quiet Place) and Akela Cooper (Malignant) wrote the original drafts.”

In the film, “Still reeling from the tragic death of their mother, a teenage girl and her little brother find themselves plagued by a sadistic presence in their house and struggle to get their grieving father to pay attention before it’s too late.”

More news as it develops.
