AMC Releases First Trailer For 'ANNE RICE'S THE MAYFAIR WITCHES'

We got a taste for Anne Rice’s Interview With The Vampire series from AMC earlier this year and now we can sink our teeth into something a bit more witchy with the upcoming premier of Anne Rice’s The Mayfair Witches and today we have your first official look at the series in a brand new trailer for the show.

The upcoming series is an adaptation of Anne Rice’s novels in the “Mayfair Witches” saga, and it premieres January 8 on AMC and AMC+. Watch the official trailer below.

Esta Spalding (“Masters of Sex,” “On Becoming a God in Central Florida”) and Michelle Ashford (“Masters of Sex,” “The Pacific,” “John Adams”) are both executive producers and writers of the series. Spalding, who has an overall deal with AMC Studios, is showrunner.

“The series will focus on an intuitive young neurosurgeon who discovers that she is the unlikely heir to a family of witches. As she grapples with her newfound powers, she must contend with a sinister presence that has haunted her family for generations.”
