Still haunting theaters, Jason Reitman’s legacy sequel, Ghostbusters: Afterlife is doing great at the box office and has been released digitally as of this writing (We watched it again last night!).

Today to wet those appetites, Sony has released the first 10minutes of the film for all to see.

The first 10 minutes of Ghostbusters: Afterlife introduce the new cast of characters, but it’s the opening sequence that’s really special here. What has Egon Spengler been up to since the events of the original classic? The new movie’s opening sequence gives us a glimpse into Egon’s solitary life as a solo ghost-buster, highlighting the character’s final stand at his home.

Egon Spengler, of course played by the late Harold Ramis in the original two movies, is killed off by the Sentinel Terror Dog in the opener, setting the stage for the movie’s new storyline.
