Filming Now Officially Underway For 'THE NUN 2'
That pesky demon Valak will return in 'THE NUN 2’ from director Michael Chaves (Curse of La Llorona, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It), and over the weekend we learned that filming on the sequel is underway.
Taissa Farmiga will be back as Sister Irene, with Bonnie Aarons again playing the demonic nun known as Valak. Storm Reid (“Euphoria”) will be leading the sequel’s cast.
The Nun 2 will arrive in theaters on September 8, 2023.
Here’s the first The Nun 2 plot synopsis: “1956 – France. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the worldwide smash hit THE NUN follows SISTER IRENE as she once again comes face to face with the demonic force VALAK – THE DEMON NUN.”
