The challenge largely comes from finding elegant and effective ways of continuing a story without feeling contrived or lazy, and for films like end like how 2022’s “Smile” did, it can be even more difficult. Thankfully, Parker Finn and the team at Paramount have a lot of confidence that they can deliver on these expectations, especially after seeing the final trailer before the film releases this Friday, October 18, 2024, in theaters!
