"FRANKIE FREAKO" Is Coming To Party This October! (TRAILER)

Friedrich Nietzsche says that “time is a flat circle,” and there is no better proof of that than with film trends. In the early 2000s, horror trends revolved around bringing back the mindless, over-the-top violence of the 80s into a more modern setting (aka Millennial Nasties). Now, the pendulum of time has swung back to the 90s as more and more movies are putting on their slap bracelets to relive one of the strangest decades in modern history. Hero of the forgotten and retro, Steven Kostanski who you may know from Psycho Goreman is now turning his sights on 900 lines and talking puppets in his newest film, “Frankie Freako”!

Having made the rounds at film festivals like Fantasia, “Frankie Freako” looks to be another rehash of nostalgia-laden throwbacks from the era of Garbage Pail Kids. Check out the trailer below to get a taste of how freaky "Frankie Freako” will be, and keep your eyes peeled for a theatrical release on October 4, 2024!

Synopsis

After calling a late-night party hotline that promises out-of-this-world fun, uptight yuppie Conor Sweeney must battle the pint-sized forces of evil unleashed through his phone line, led by the maniacal rock n’ roll goblin FRANKIE FREAKO.
