Macabre Daily Saddles Up For An Interview With Director AUDREY CUMMINGS About "PLACE OF BONES" (INTERVIEW)
While the Western film may not be directly related to horror, it certainly shares some branches on the family tree. In some ways, we are seeing a revival of the Western genre largely spurred by shows like Yellowstone despite being far more modern in approach. This feels like a great time for a return to the homestead, and thankfully we have talented filmmakers like Audrey Cummings saddling up to tackle new stories about the old frontier. One such film is “Place of Bones”, starring Heather Graham and Tom Hopper is set to release in theaters and digital VOD on August 23, 2024, and we had a chance to speak with Director Audrey Cummings about it!
Audrey is no stranger to this genre or many others, and most horror fans will know her from he work directing the sequel “She Never Died” and Executive Producing the outstanding “Anything For Jackson”. Audrey was kind enough to talk about “Place of Bones” and share a bit more about what she’s working on, why the Western is making a comeback, and a shared love of Leone!
