Full Cast List Revealed For Mike Flanagan's 'THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER' Coming To Netflix!

Netflix has announced today the first casting for the Mike Flanagan-directed “The Fall of the House of Usher,” a new series based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe!

The limited series from Intrepid Pictures is “based on multiple works from Poe,” and will be headlined by Dracula, Masters of the Universe and The Box‘s Frank Langella, with Carla Gugino (“Gerald’s Game, “The Haunting of Hill House”), Mary McDonnellCarl Lumbly (Doctor Sleep), and the great Mark Hamill, as well as a huge ensemble cast with additional notes from Flanagan below:

  • And a new addition to the dark worlds of Intrepid and of Edgar Allan Poe, playing a character surprisingly at home in the shadows, we are thrilled to welcome… the iconic MARK HAMILL.”

8 episodes have been ordered. Flanagan and Michael Fimognari will each direct four episodes.

“The Fall of the House of Usher” marks the fifth series for Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy at Netflix under their Intrepid Pictures overall deal, including: the fan-beloved “The Haunting of” series – “The Haunting of Hill House” and “The Haunting of Bly Manor”; the recently launched and critically-lauded “Midnight Mass,” 

If you’re not familiar with the works of Poe…why are you even reading this? But seriously, “The Fall Of The House Of Usher is immense in scale and we’re eager to see what Flanagan and crew will bring to this legendary tale of macabre and woe.
