'GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE' Featurette Introduces New Bigger Badder Ghosts
A new Ghostbusters film is heading our way and with GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE hitting theaters on March 22nd, we were hoping for more ghosts to be in the film. Sony heard our plea and man oh man are there some big baddies in this next flick.
The short-but-sweet featurette video can be found below, highlighting new ghosts including the Sewer Dragon, Pukey, the Possessor and the franchise’s latest big bad: Garraka.
The cast refers to Garraka as “this crazy ancient really creepy evil god.” They add, “If you come into contact with Garraka, your veins turn to ice, your heart stops, it’s pretty terrifying.”
In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level.
But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.
The cast includes Patton Oswalt, Kumail Nanjiani, James Acaster, and Emily Alyn Lind, alongside Bill Murray, Finn Wolfhard, Ernie Hudson, Mckenna Grace, Paul Rudd, Celeste O’Connor, Logan Kim, Annie Potts, Dan Aykroyd and Carrie Coon.
Jason Reitman, who directed Ghostbusters: Afterlife, is back to produce Frozen Empire.
