It might only be the end of May, but the season of frights and fun is arriving early this year at Universal Orlando Resort! With Halloween Horror Nights beginning on August 30th this year (a few days before our typical September start), Universal Orlando announced today the first-ever Premium Scream Night which will be on August 29th, a day before the opening night of the event. This will allow guests to get a sneak peek at all 10 terrifying Haunted Houses and scare-zones before the general public. Tickets go on sale on JUNE 6TH; we have a feeling that this event will sell out, so make sure to grab yours before they’re gone!

From the Press Release:

“Premium Scream Night guests will earn the ultimate bragging rights as they will be among the first to face this year’s slate of all-new frights comprised of 10 horrifying, movie-quality haunted houses inspired by cinematic greats and eerie original stories created by the twisted minds of Universal’s Entertainment team, five scare zones filled with hordes of menacing creatures and outrageous live entertainment.”

Now what does this event entail you may ask? Well, we’ve got you covered. Guests will be able to experience Halloween Horror Nights in a more intimate way, complete with limited capacity and shorter wait times. Groups will also have staggered entry into the houses so that everyone can soak in all the scares that lurk around every corner. Indulge in all-you-care-to-enjoy themed food items and non-alcoholic beverages, along with an exclusive event souvenir credential and lanyard for a keepsake. Select attractions will be open and free self-parking will also be offered.

As for pricing, tickets are priced at $350 plus tax. Universal Annual and Seasonal Passholders can purchase at a discounted price of $325 plus tax. This is a great way to experience Halloween Horror Nights if you’re visiting and can only go for one night, or if you’re like us and can’t wait that extra night to start soaking up the fog.
