‘HELL HOUSE LLC ORIGINS: THE CARMICHAEL MANOR’ Premiers On Shudder This October

In the last couple of decades, found footage movies have had the successful boom in popularity. We have had opportunities to see movies like ‘Paranormal Activity’, ‘The Blair Witch Project’, and so many more grace the silver screen only to change the way we look at found footage horror. So many films have not only defined this genre, but they have really made us terrified of the realism that these horror films provide with each unique story.

Recently it was announced that a 4th movie for the ‘Hell House LLC’ franchise will be coming to Shudder October 30th this year, and just in time for our favorite Halloween season. The newest installment of this haunted house found footage franchise is called ‘Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor’ from Terror Films. The film stars Bridget Rose Perrotta (as Margot Bentley), Destiny Brown (as Rebecca Vickers), and James Liddell (as Chase Bentley). The synopsis of the new film is as follows:

“In 2021, a group of internet sleuths travel to the remote Carmichael Manor, deep in the woods of the Rockland County, New York, site of the infamous 1989 Carmichael family murders that have gone unsolved to this day. What they discover are secrets that have been hidden away for decades and a terror that has been lurking in the shadows long before Hell House.”

Writer/Director Stephen Cognetti said about making this movie: “In making the Carmichael Manor, I wanted to create an original story within the Hell House LLC universe yet set it in the present day instead of making a prequel film to the original trilogy. As a filmmaker, the Carmichael Manor allowed me to explore a lot of themes and origins from the hotel’s mythology, while introducing new characters and mysteries surrounding the events that took place in 1989 in a stand-alone origin story, one of several I hope to create.”.

‘Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor’ from Terror Films will be exclusively available on Shudder October 30th and on VOD January 26th. Don’t miss out on this newest addition to the ‘Hell House LLC’ franchise.
