Latest 'MORBIUS' Clip Shows Us The Birth Of The Living Vampire! [Video]

Let’s face it, Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage were massive hits for Columbia Pictures and thus they are spending no time in hyping the next Spider-Verse villain story to life with ‘Morbius’. Star Jared Leto is taking on the role of Michael Morbius, a genius scientist who gets transformed into a vampire, a “living vampire” if you will.

Straight out of the CCXP in Brazil, the studio has revealed a lengthy action-packed and extremely violent first clip from the comic book adaptation in which we see Leto transformed into a vampire for the very first time. While the violence doesn’t actually deliver any blood, it’s pretty brutal, and the visual effects are excellent.

Sony’s latest Spider-Man spinoff centers on Michael Morbius, a scientist who, in trying to find a cure for a rare blood disease, accidentally transforms himself into a living vampire. Though disgusted by his own bloodlust, he chooses to prey upon criminals he deems unworthy of life.

‘Morbius’ will be sinking its fangs into theaters on January 28, 2022.
