Negan's Wife Has Been Cast For The Tenth Season Of THE WALKING DEAD
We are finally going to see who Lucille really was on AMC’s The Walking Dead. No we aren’t just talking about Negan’s bat. We mean his actual wife has been cast and we are excited to see what this brings to the drabness that is TWD.
ComicBook.com reveals that Jeffrey Dean Morgan's real-life wife, Hilarie Burton, will have a guest role in the show as it begins to wind down over the next couple of years. She'll be playing Lucille, the woman Negan named his iconic barbed wire covered baseball bat after.
A little background on who Lucille is and how she is. In the comics, Lucille was battling cancer before the start of the zombie apocalypse, and Negan was having an affair (which she was aware of). He called that off to be at her side, and dedicated his life to Lucille in her final months. However, on her deathbed, she transformed into one of the undead almost at the exact same time the zombie virus started spreading across the world.
Before joining the cast of The Walking Dead, Burton made appearances in One Tree Hill and Grey's Anatomy. News about the actress being spotted on set was first reported by Crooked Llama.
