Neil McRobert From The "TALKING SCARED PODCAST" Gets Scary With Us! (INTERVIEW)
We found a fascinating piece of information while interviewing Neil McRobert, the creator and host of the most popular horror literature podcast on air today, “The Talking Scared Podcast.” It wasn’t that he’d interviewed everyone from Mike Flanagan to Ellen Datlow and Erin E. Adams. Or that he has a novella titled “Good Boy” whose protagonist is based on his adorable pup, Ted, or that he wasn’t scared at all interviewing the one and only Stephen King. It was that he visually became uncomfortable when receiving compliments of any kind. Neil assured us it’s inherent in Englishman worldwide, but it was still hilarious. We dive into the origin of ‘Talking Scared” and how it’s grown these last four years to become the “must-go-on” for any horror author working today, as well as Neil’s exciting plans for 2025 and beyond.
