New Clip From Netflix's "DEVIL MAY CRY" Series Gets Us Even Giddier!

The first two months of 2025 have felt like two years, and while we bask in the fresh horrors that each new day presents to us we take solace in knowing that come April 3rd, Netflix’s “Devil May Cry” series hits the streamer with 8 episodes of violent, demon killing glory. The devils here at Macabre Daily will be crying on April 3rd, but they will tears of joy and laughter as we watch Dante and crew take down the horrors that await them.

For those unfamiliar, “Devil May Cry” is a video game series that spawned a host of mangas and even it’s own anime series in 2007. Dante, the main character for most of the games is a half-demon half-human hybrid whose the spawn of Sparta which gives him demonic abilities without any of the disgusting appearance. The 2001 game first launched on the first Playstation, and has spawned over 10 game sequels and iterations across multiple platforms.

Now that you’ve got your “Devil May Cry” 101 certificate, enjoy a NEW clip from the forthcoming show to get a sense of the humor and ass kicking the show will have in store. If you’re a fan of the game, and we know you are if you’re reading this, this looks to be another home run a la “Castlevania.”

Synopsis

In this animated adaptation of the popular Capcom game and from the vision of Adi Shankar, sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon-hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck.
