Now You're Playing With Power In "TERRIFIER: The ARTcade Game"!

If the release of “Terrifier 3” today isn’t enough reason to bring a little ART into your life, perhaps you prefer to play rather than observe the ultra-violence of Damien Leone and David Howard Thornton’s iconic Art the Clown character. Thankfully, there are many ways to get your “Terrifier” fix (read our “Terrifier 3” review) that go beyond popcorn buckets and video releases, but you may have to wait a while to get your chance to play as Art the Clown as Relevo has announced their upcoming video game companion, “Terrifier: The ARTcade Game!”

The fine folks over at GameRant broke this news and shared a handful of screenshots and a teaser trailer. From what we can gather, this is essentially a side-scrolling beat-em-up with you playing as the infamous Art the Clown as you massacre all the well-to-do people around you. We love blood, carnage, and simplicity as much as anyone else so we’re eager to see how this shapes up. If there is one major hurdle this game will have to cross, it’s that side-scroller and Metroidvania games are a dime-a-dozen these days, and standing out in such a crowded arena can be difficult, but at least you have Art on your side!
