(VIDEO) INTERVIEW WITH "MALIBU HORROR STORY" WRITER/DIRECTOR SCOTT SLONE!
Found footage has a place in every horror fans heart, and while some may not favor the format over others, there is no denying that we are seeing a lot of innovation in the found footage space. From more ethereal films like THE OUTWATERS to more meta projects like HORROR IN THE HIGH DESERT, found footage films are making bold changes to the format that are brining fans old and new to the medium in droves.
In this interview with SCOTT SLONE, the writer and director of the upcoming MALIBU HORROR STORY, we talk about the long road to getting this film made and the joys and difficulties of independent filmmaking. Our review will be coming next week, but if you’re interested in a preview all we can say is “this movie is easily on the Top 10 of 2023”.
