That statement, has to be the best we have heard all year! A scary Marvel movie by Sam Raimi…we are literally drooling over here in anticipation.
Loki and Wandavision set things up nicely for the good Doctor but it’s Sam Raimi who will help him dive into the first “Scary” Marvel movie. It’s about damn time!
Speaking at a recent Q&A (via Games Radar), star Elizabeth Olsen indeed promises that the finished product has ended up being “very scary,” which should please horror fans.
“It’s a very scary movie,” Olsen said. “It’s like old Sam Raimi. They’re trying to create the scariest Marvel movie.”
Old Sam Raimi? Now we’re talkin!
Production has wrapped on Multiverse of Madness, which will technically be Raimi’s first horror movie in more than 10 years and first Marvel superhero movie in nearly 15 years. Is your interest peaked? Ours sure is!
Xochitl Gomez (“The Baby-Sitters Club”) recently joined the cast as America Chavez, alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Rachel McAdams.
Raimi’s return to the world of Marvel will release in theaters on March 25, 2022.
