Spooky Pinball Summons The First Ever "EVIL DEAD" Pinball Game To Swallow Your Soul
We have some groovy news for ya as Spooky Pinball has just announced its next game release, the first-ever pinball game based on “EVIL DEAD”. We have all the details to get your paddles flapping about the release below.
Spooky Pinball has come a long way from its podcast roots. Their love for pinball transitioned from just talking about pinball to creating some of the industry’s best cabinets over the years and now they are only the third manufacturer of pinball parts in America and have slowly grown into the go-to company for horror-related pinball games. Talk about a “glow up.” Currently, the company has created games based on “HALLOWEEN”, “THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE”, “RICK AND MORTY” and now is unleashing “EVIL DEAD” upon the world and they announced how you can get your mitts on a cabinet through their Instagram yesterday.
The new game will feature artwork by Christopher Franchi who has been doing amazing work for pinball companies for years. You can see from the image above and below that the man has talent. The game will also feature the voice of “The Chosen One” himself, Ashley J. Williams, and yes, its Bruce Campbell behind the mic.
The folks over at KnaapArcade.org have some more details regarding the release via, Pinball aficionado website, Pinside.com. The site notes that C.O.O. for Spooky Pinball, “Spooky Luke” stated that “the game will come in one version, the Collector's Edition, which will be priced at $9,999 including the topper and that the game will be limited to 888 units.”
All day today, the company is hosting special announcements and reveals for the new “EVIL DEAD” game. Every few hours, starting at 8 am CST (the company is in Wisconsin) with the full game trailer, Spooky Pinball is unleashing all the special features, extras, and the most epic thing on any pinball game, the “topper” for “Evil Dead”. Fans will be able to start pre-ordering the game at 10 am. If that’s not all, Creative Director, Corwin "Bug" Emery and Chief Operating Officer, Spooky Luke, will be doing a live Q&A on the company’s Facebook and Twitch. That’s a whole lotta pinball talk!

Evil Dead Pinball is a wide body pinball machine set in the world of the first two films of the iconic franchise, “The Evil Dead”, and “Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn”. The players will be guided along by Ashley Williams, voiced by Bruce Campbell, as they battle the relentless forces of evil.

This new game will be a must for die-hard “EVIL DEAD” and pinball fans alike. We have a feeling since the game is a super limited release, the value will go up through resellers and ebay. Sometimes it’s better to pay a lot now so later on you don’t pay a lot more. Trust us, we’ve had to re-buy a few limited edition items over the years and boy howdy does it sting.
