A brother and sister uncover a terrifying ritual at the secluded home of their new foster mother.

When “Talk to Me” hit theaters, we’ll admit—we were a little skeptical. A horror film helmed by a directing duo best known for their YouTube videos, with no major studio film making experience? It sounded like a gamble. But oh, how wrong we were! Danny and Michael Philippou’s debut feature became one of A24’s biggest horror hits, both critically and financially. With a gripping story, genuinely terrifying moments, and a fresh take on supernatural horror, “Talk to Me” raked in over $92 million worldwide against a modest $4.5 million budget. Critics and audiences alike praised its eerie atmosphere, unsettling imagery, and standout performances, proving that the Philippou brothers were more than ready for the big leagues.
