Terror Films' “HALLOWEEN CANDY” (2025) Dares You To Try Some (TRAILER)
Horror fans and Halloween are like two peas in a morbid pod. They’re a perfect match for terrifying and macabre fun! It is the time of year when their love for all things scary becomes popular (with the normal folk while the rest of us rock all things horror 365 days a year) They can enjoy endless horror movie marathons, haunted houses, and a chance to dress up as their favorite final girl or monster. While the rest of the world takes a cautious approach to the eerie festivities, horror lovers embrace the pumpkin-scented madness, happily debating whether candy corn is a trick or a treat candy worth eating and making sure their skeleton decorations stay up until Halloween night. It’s the perfect time of year for horror fans as the world embraces the fandom of horror in a way we hold close to our hearts.
We at Macabre Daily recently heard news of a new horror movie from Terror Films Releasing, “Halloween Candy,” based on the Halloween season.
From The Press Release
Terror Films Releasing has teamed with writer/director Douglas A. Plomitallo to release his anthology horror film, “Halloween Candy”.
Starring Molly Gazay, Amber Rothberg, Sara Lynn, Nathaniel Lee, and Analisa Robertson, the film follows a recently divorced writer who searches for inspiration from trick-or-treaters…and one surprise visitor makes this Halloween one she will never forget! Plomitallo shared their thoughts about the making of the film in a recent press release from Terror Films Releasing:
“I wrote the and directed the film Halloween Candy because of my love and passion for the Halloween season. Since I was a child, the season has meant a great deal to my family and me. I wanted to take some of the elements that made it so special to me and put it on the screen to share with viewers of the movie. The film is an anthology made up of several stories which allowed me to incorporate many elements from different aspects of Halloween lore.
We filmed it in the middle of a hot August, but for everyone on set, it was October 31st. We gave the film a lot of attention to detail to make sure that we captured the essence and vibe that make Halloween so special. With those details, I hope that the film becomes yearly viewing for some people and will help get them in the spirit of our favorite season.”
The film is currently available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video to rent or purchase. Terror Films Releasing will release the film across multiple digital platforms beginning March 21st, 2025, including Chilling, Scare Network TV, Kings of Horror, Watch Movies Now and many more.
