Terror Films Releasing Warns Home Invaders To “GO AWAY” In Their New Film (TRAILER)
There are many horror genres, making it challenging to choose just one to enjoy. However, one genre that is particularly likely to scare horror fans more is home invasion horror movies. These movies often feel the most realistic because news stories from around the world have reported terrifying headlines warning of the recent dangers of home invasions. These movies tap into a primal fear that resonates deeply with audiences, as they focus on the vulnerability of one’s sanctuary. Unlike supernatural horror or slasher flicks, these films hit close to home by exploiting the fear that terror could strike where we feel safest. The impact on horror fans is intense, as these movies often blur the line between fiction and reality, forcing viewers to confront the unsettling possibility of such invasions in their own lives. The genre’s raw, unsettling atmosphere and relatable terror often leave a lasting impression, amplifying a sense of dread that lingers long after the credits roll.
From the Press Release
Terror Films Releasing has teamed up with Dave Kerr to release his slasher homage film, “Go Away”. This movie has a cast full of horror icons Thom Mathews, Felissa Rose, and Tuesday Knight, the film follows five intruders who put guests at a family gathering through a series of sadistic games, not realizing the intruders themselves may have something to fear. Kerr shared his thoughts about the making of the film:
“This movie came from an idea that I had been thinking about for a while; What would happen if the killers from an intruder film like ‘The Strangers’ or ‘You’re Next’ knocked on the wrong door? What if that door belonged to an 80’s slasher like Jason Voorhees or Michael Myers? That idea led us to making a mashup of old school horror verse new school horror with ‘Go Away’. This film is killer versus killer where the guests are caught in the middle. A showdown between a retired slasher and a group of crazed intruders who play sadistic games with their victims. In this film, everyone has something to fear…even the killers themselves.”
Terror Films Releasing will premiere the film across multiple platforms on December 6th, 2024, including Tubi TV, Chilling, ScareNetwork TV, Kings of Horror, Watch Movies Now and many more. Stay tuned to Macabre Daily for our in-depth review of this movie and more news from the world of horror.
