UPDATE: NEW MAYhem Ticket Deal and Dates Announced for Howl-O-Scream Tampa Bay, Orlando, and San Diego
Howl-O-Scream returns with an alluring ticket deal for their MAYhem Sale. Guests can purchase two tickets from now until May 14th on any event night valid for one visit at just $36.99 apiece.

If you’ve never attended Howl-O-Scream before, this one is for you. The event started in Busch Gardens Williamsburg in 1999. “Spooky Safari” was held that same year in Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, a more family-friendly event. The following year 2000, Howl-O-Scream came to Tampa Bay and has been a staple for horror lovers ever since.
Fast forward to 2021, SeaWorld Orlando and San Diego hosted their first Howl-O-Scream with the tagline “Inaugural Fear.” I have only attended the Orlando event, so I am only able to speak on behalf of that one in particular. There were four haunted houses: Dead Vines, Beneath the Ice, Captain’s Revenge, and Water’s Edge Inn. Four scare zones also played off the nautical theme that SeaWorld immerses you in, including Witchcraft Bayou, Frozen Terror, Sea of Souls, and Deadly Ambush. Sirens and creatures roamed the park awaiting their new victims. The event returned in 2022 and amped up its game with five haunted houses and a whopping seven scare zones. I loved the originality and creativity that brought these houses to life and all the interactions throughout the scare zones. As for this year, things are already looking very promising...
